Water

We have a plastic PROBLEM.

Are you part of it?

  • Easy steps to reduce plastic pollution
  • What you don't see on telly
  • Eye-opening articles
  • Only 0.007 percent of the planet's water is available to fuel and feed its 7.3 billion people.
  • is one of the biggest scams in the history of human kind and is proven to be no better than our tap water.
  • costs on average 500 times more than tap water, the equivalent of paying £1,500 for a pint of beer or glass of wine.
  • The human body consists of about 65% water. Blood is 92% water, the brain and muscles are 75% water, and bones are about 22% water.
  • 100% of the population in EU 15 and EFTA countries have access to improved drinking water sources
  • Tap water is subject to far more stringent safety tests than bottled water and is much less likely to be contaminated.
  • One third of the people on earth lack adequate sanitation.
  • It would take 1/3 of what the world spends on bottled water in one year to pay for projects providing safe water

to everyone in need.

  • The total UK soft drinks consumption exceeded 14.2 billion litres, or 227 litres per capita in 2012, with a market value of nearly £15 billion.
  • Only 25% of plastic bottles get downcycled, the rest ends up in landfills or goes astray.
  • In the environment, plastic does not biodegrade, it breaks down into small, everlasting particles that are ingested by wildlife on land and in the ocean, ultimately contaminating the food chain.

Water is Life

We are living on a water planet, an environment teeming with life like no other in the entire universe, at least as far as our investigations go.

The presence of water is the basis of all life forms on Earth, evolution of human kind would have been impossible without it and without clean and safe water we are simply unable to live.

The last 70 years in the history of mankind dramaticlly changed life on Earth. The advent of fossil fuel based, mass-produced single use plastics not only revolutionized our lifestyles but also impacted on our environment in unprecedented ways.

Largely unnoticed or ignored by consumers, our environment is suffering heavily from the consequences and this is already having its effects on our very own health.

Plastic is a material that the Earth cannot digest.

Every bit of plastic that has ever been created still exists.

In the UK only, an estimated 15 million plastic bottles are consumed every single day.
